Four upcoming GM Bereavement Service pop up events are planned for 2026
Four GM Bereavement Service pop up events are planned for this year at the city centre venue, House of Books and Friends, 81 King Street, Manchester, M2 4AH
The events are free to attend and held 10am -12pm and anyone is welcome; professionals wanting to learn more and people who may have been touched by loss both past and present.
The structure is similar each time, a brief educational session on understanding grief and loss – and then time talking about the service and the support they offer. They then allow space for discussion if appropriate, or an opportunity for individuals to talk to a practitioner 1-1.

- 20th August- Grief Awareness Day
- 10th September- World Suicide Prevention Day
- 3rd December – Grief Awareness Week
