Unfortunately, world events such as wars, terrorist attacks or natural disasters happen. People living in Greater Manchester who have relatives or friends in the affected area, or who have seen the event on broadcast or social media, may require support. If you are impacted we appreciate how difficult this may be for you. The Greater Manchester Bereavement Service can offer support when there has been a loss of life. There are other services and resources listed below that could help if you are affected in other ways. If you require an interpreter, email the Greater Manchester Bereavement Service or other services beforehand stating the language support required. If you work in health and social care in Greater Manchester (including people who work in the voluntary sector) you can access support through the Greater Manchester Resilience Hub. These guides can offer information and advice for common reactions to difficult events. More will be added as they become available.
