On the 2^nd December 2025 – 10-11am, we are hosting a webinar with the bereavement charity Widowed and Young (WAY) to learn more from WAY, a UK charity that offers a peer-to-peer support network for anyone who’s lost a partner before their 51st birthday.

On the 3^rd December 2025- 10-11am, we are hosting a webinar with StrongMen, the UK men’s bereavement charity, to hear more about the support they can provide to men following bereavement.

Grief can cause severe emotional and physical health conditions which are often overlooked and even ignored, especially in men. Learn more about the approach StrongMen take and how men can access the support available.

On the 3^rd December 2025- 1-1.45pm, we are hosting a webinar with the Greater Manchester Bereavement Service.

Bereavement touches us all at some point in our lives. For some, additional support may be needed to navigate their grief. Join this session to discover how the Greater Manchester Bereavement Service offers all-age support to residents and professionals in Manchester who are bereaved or impacted by any cause of death. Learn also of the creative peer support initiated by NHS Greater Manchester.

Dying Matters Awareness Week Coffee Morning

Dying Matters Awareness Week takes place on 5th-11th May. The theme of this years campaign is ‘The Culture of Dying Matters’, and there is a focus on how different communities and cultures in the UK feel, talk about, and deal with death and dying – and what brings them together.

The Greater Manchester Bereavement Service will be holding a coffee morning at House of Brooks & Friends in Manchester city centre to mark the week.

The morning will provide an opportunity to learn more about bereavement and the service itself, connect with others, and engage in a creative activity with a focus on grief.

This is available for anyone to join, and it’s free to register on the Eventbrite link.
